Sally KWOK is an emerging film composer hailing from Asia’s World City, Hong Kong. A classical study, Ms. KWOK earned her Master of Art in Music Education from The Education University of Hong Kong, composing “Persist” as her culminating work.

 

In addition, Ms. KWOK graduated from a film scoring program through the University of California, Los Angeles. She has been composing for independent films One Man Band (2022),  Apart (2021), Minutes in the world (2020), Why Does The Star Fall (2018) and Nigh (2017) , and working on different projects with different directors. Other notable works include an original music album 'Persist', a live recording performance in Hong Kong Education University of Hong Kong; Abyss (Composition for Chinese Instrument Gu Zheng); Fall (For Harp and Percussion); Snow Girl (Soundtrack for a Multimedia Performance) and Journey (A Saxophone Octet).

Over the years Ms. KWOK has had the privilege of mentoring and introducing over a hundred students to the joy of music, as pianists, music theorists and piano accompanists; she is also active in different music performance and events as a piano or keyboard player.
